    Mark McDonald, MPT, CPED
    Mark McDonald
    Mark is the center manager of Select Physical Therapy's Linglestown center. He graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 1987 with a bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology and from Hahnemann University in 1989 with a master’s in physical therapy. He is also a board certified pedorthist. He has more than 25 years of experience in treatment of musculoskeletal orthopaedic problems.
    Ashley Newcomer, MOT, OTR/L
    Ashley Newcomer
    Ashley earned a master’s degree in occupational therapy in 2007 from West Virginia University. Her passion for working with adults and children allows her to assess each individual’s functional ability and assist them in regaining independence in all areas of life. Ashley’s previous experience includes expertise in completing Functional Capacity Evaluations and developing Work Conditioning programs, specializing in treatments for the upper extremity and hands following disease and injury, using a multidisciplinary approach to treat patients with neurological disorders and treating children with developmental delays and disabilities.
    Valerie Malizzia, P.T.,DPT
    Valerie Malizzia
    Valerie attended school at Lebanon Valley College where she played softball and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Health Science and her doctorate in physical therapy. She has experience treating a wide variety of orthopedic as well as neuromuscular conditions, including but not limited to running injuries and gait abnormalities, post-surgical impairments, vestibular impairments, low-back and cervical pain and upper extremity injuries.
    Megan Krause, P.T., DPT, CSCS
    Megan Krause
    Megan Krause was born in Washington D.C., and has lived in multiple states including Maryland, Texas, Arkansas, Massachusetts, Missouri and Florida before settling in Harrisburg, PA. She attended school at Saint Louis University where she was a competitive swimmer and played water polo. Megan lives in Linglestown with her husband and son.
    Samantha Robison, PTA
    Samantha Robison
    Samantha received an associate’s degree in physical therapy assistant in 2014 from Central Penn College. Her experience includes three years as a physical therapy technician and internships including inpatient and outpatient care. Her interests in helping patients include a wide variety from knee replacements to rotator cuff repairs. She strives to treat each of her patients with the respect they deserve, encourages them to do their best and help them to return to work and recreational activities for an overall better lifestyle without pain.
    Penny Daly, PTA
    Penny Daly
    Penny has been a physical therapist assistant for 35 years. She graduated from Lehigh County Community College and has been with Select Physical Therapy since 2003. Penny brings her experience from various clinical settings, including acute rehabilitation and burn units. Penny became interested in chronic pain and was trained in Myofascial Release Techniques. She has also worked in a community re-entry program with head injury and young stroke patients. Penny now focused on treating chronic patients and providing Myofascial Release.
    Courtney Sparver, PTA
    Courtney Sparver
    Courtney was born and raised in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Courtney obtained a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Penn State University in 2012. She went on to continue her education and received an associate’s degree in physical therapy in 2015 from Central Penn College. She has completed “Running Injuries and Advanced Lower Extremity Biomechanics” continuing education courses which has helped her in treating athletes and runners. Her clinical experience in an outpatient and inpatient setting during her internship and working as a PTA has allowed Courtney to gain experience treating a wide variety of patients.
    Kelsey Sipes, MOT, OTR/L
    Kelsey Sipes
    Kelsey earned a master's in occupational therapy from Saint Francis University. She moved to the Harrisburg area from western Pennsylvania with her husband in 2016. Kelsey works with patients with disorders and injuries of the upper extremity, both neurological and musculoskeletal based. She is also trained in Functional Capacity Evaluations and Post-Offer Employment Testing.
    Adam Smith, PTA
    Adam Smith
    Adam is a graduate of Central Penn College with more than 11 years working with a multitude of patients in different settings. He feels strongly that a positive patient relationship built on trust is critical for optimum outcomes with treatment. He believes in educating patients on all aspects of their care, including them as a critical part of the overall process in returning to the things they love to do.
