    Now offering vision therapy! Vision therapy is an individualized treatment program offered by an occupational therapist and is designed to correct visual motor deficiencies caused from a brain trauma, such as strokes or head injuries. If you have complaints of scanning problems, a visual field cut, convergence disorders, decreased reading skills, blurred or double vision and impaired depth perception, you may be a candidate for this program. Treatment session may include saccade, pursuit and jumpduction exercises, use of prism glasses, gaze training and DynaVision 2000. Contact us today to learn more!

    Gillian Frey, MSPT
    Gillian Frey
    Gillian earned a master’s degree in physical therapy from Ithaca College. She has worked in outpatient centers and inpatient acute and rehabilitation settings and specializes in treating vestibular disorders, neurological conditions and pediatric patients. Gillian received additional training for vestibular diagnoses and is Herdman Competency Certified. Diagnoses she treats include BPPV, vestibular hypofunction, labyrinthitis, vestibular neuritis, central vertigo, acoustic neuroma and Ramsay Hunt. Neurological diagnoses include MS, Parkinson’s disease, CVA, Guillain Barre, concussion and traumatic brain injury.
    Jamie E. Sheriff, OTR/L, Center Manager
    Jamie E. Sheriff
    Jamie, center manager, is a graduate of Penn State University with a bachelor's degree in occupational therapy. She has provided occupational therapy services in various rehabilitation settings, including outpatient, acute, inpatient, long-term care and school settings. She specializes in working with patients who have neurological conditions, cognitive and visual impairment disorders. Jamie is also certified in the LSVT BIG program that focuses on treatment of patients who have movement disorders, such as Parkinson's disease.
    Dawn Dreyer, PTA
    Dawn Dreyer
    Dawn graduated from Lehigh Valley Community College with an associate's degree in physical therapy. She has extensive experience working in varies outpatient therapy settings, including hand therapy, vestibular, lymphedema, neurological and general orthopaedics. Dawn holds a certification in manual lymphatic drainage and complete decongestive therapy. She enjoys working with the diverse population that is served at the Bloom center.
    Stefani Knopick, P.T., DPT
    Stefani Knopick
    Stefani received an undergraduate degree in biology from SUNY Binghamton and doctorate of physical therapy at Chatham University. While at Binghamton, she played varsity soccer and interned in their athletic training department. Stefani has a passion for sports medicine rehabilitation, including preventative therapy and athletic screens, concussion and return-to-sport, acute, overuse and post-surgical injuries.
    Ciersten Dixon, M.S., CF-SLP
    Ciersten Dixon
    Cierstin earned a bachelor's degree in communication sciences and disorders from Penn State University and master's degree in speech-language pathology from Nova Southeastern University. Cierstin splits her time at the inpatient Helen Simpson Rehabilitation Hospital and the outpatient Bloom Neuroscience Center. She specializes in working with individuals post-stroke or traumatic brain injury, targeting the areas of dysphagia, speech and language (aphasia, dysarthria & apraxia) and cognitive linguistic skills (memory, attention and problem solving).
    Anna Kohr, PTA
    Anna Kohr
    Anna grew up in the Hershey/Palmyra area. She attended Central Penn College's physical therapist assistant program and has been a practicing PTA for last 12 years. She also served 12 years in the PA Air National Guard at Fort Indiantown Gap. She currently live in the Harrisburg area with her spouse and two rescue dogs. Anna enjoys dabbling in photography, playing volleyball and going kayaking.
    Penny Daly, PTA
    Penny Daly
    Penny has been a physical therapist assistant for 35 years. She graduated from Lehigh County Community College and has been with Select Physical Therapy since 2003. Penny brings her experience from various clinical settings, including acute rehabilitation and burn units. Penny became interested in chronic pain and is trained in myofascial release techniques. She has also worked in a community re-entry program with head injury and young stroke patients. Penny is currently running our aquatics program out of the Helen M. Simpson Rehabilitation Hospital.
