    Select Physical Therapy offers a wide range of orthopaedic services and is dedicated to treating patients of varying age groups and activity levels:

    Orthopaedics: Whether you've sustained a mild strain or had a major surgical procedure, our physical therapists will work with you in a goal-oriented program to regain maximal pain free function.

    Sports Medicine: We provide sport rehabilitation services for multiple local high schools and universities, both onsite and in our center. The goal of our physical therapists and athletic trainers is to return injured athletes to their optimal performance level in whichever sport they participate.

    Industrial: We are focused on returning injured workers back to their place of employment in a timely and safe manner. We will provide highly focused functional rehabilitation programs that ensure ideal return-to-work status. We also provide screening procedures designed to ensure safety in the workplace.

    Bob Strittmatter, P.T., DPT, OCS, COMT
    Bob Strittmatter
    Bob is a physical therapist and center manager for Select Physical Therapy in Western Connecticut. He oversees operations at the New Milford, Sharon and Danbury outpatient physical therapy centers. He has achieved success in the treatment of various musculoskeletal conditions for the upper and lower extremity and spine, post-surgical and total joint rehabilitation, amputee and gait training, orthotics, manual therapy, upper extremity splinting, hand therapy, TMJ disorders, vestibular rehabilitation, ergonomic assessments, functional capacity evaluations and work conditioning. He earned a doctorate of physical therapy in 2002 from Slippery Rock University and board certification in orthopaedic physical therapy in 2008. Bob also completed a year-long residency in manual therapy with the Ola Grimsby Institute in 2011.  
    Eric Tietz, P.T., DPT
    Eric Tietz
    Eric has achieved success in the treatment of various musculoskeletal injuries and post-surgical rehabilitation. He earned a doctorate of physical therapy in 2012 from the University of Hartford. He is CPR, AED and first-aid certified. Eric has participated in both the 2011 and 2012 Sports Medicine Symposium. He has also performed extensive clinical research on the foot and ankle and looks forward to more continuing education opportunities.

    Karen has achieved success in the treatment of upper extremity and hand therapy. She earned a bachelor's in occupational therapy in 1975 from Western Michigan University, master's in occupational therapy in 2003 from the University of New Hampshire and certification in hand therapy in 1992.
    Danielle Bresson, P.T., DPT
    Danielle Bresson
    Danielle is a native of New Milford, CT. She earned a doctorate in physical therapy in 2015 from Northeastern University. Danielle previously worked and trained at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA. She has participated in the 2015 Sports Medicine Symposium and the 2016 Upper Extremity Symposium in Philadelphia, PA. She enjoys working with orthopaedics, vestibular, sports injuries and pediatrics. Danielle enjoys baking, traveling and watching baseball.
    Greg Fata, P.T., DPT
    Greg Fata
    Greg earned a doctorate of physical therapy in 2016 from Sacred Heart University and has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and Connecticut Chapter for Orthopedics since 2013. He completed internships at Candlewood Valley Health and Rehabilitation and Griffin Hospital in their outpatient and inpatient facilities. Greg contributed to a fall prevention screening program in the Trumbull area as part of an internship with Select Physical Therapy prior to his hire. He enjoys treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions and post-operative rehab for upper extremities, lower extremities and spine.
    Tim Lampron, ATC, CSCS, CKTP
    Tim Lampron
    Tim has achieved success in the treatment of athletic injuries. He earned a bachelor's degree in physical education with a concentration in athletic training in 2002 from SUNY Brockport College. Tim is also a certified strength and conditioning specialist and a certified kinesiotaping practitioner. He has completed numerous continuing education courses dealing with thrower's shoulder, ankle instability in athletics, ACL prevention, and rehabilitation, evaluation and treatment for concussions.
