    The Winter Haven center is conveniently located in the Spring Lake Retail Center.

    Our highly trained staff provides exceptional preventative and rehabilitative services that allow patients to maximize functional performance. We develop individualized treatment plans to help achieve each patient's specific goals. We have a staff of manually trained therapists who will take a hands-on approach to your care.;

    Margarita Torres, P.T., DPT COMT
    Margarita Torres
    Margarita is the Center Manager at the Winter Haven office. Margarita earned her Masters degree in Physical Therapy from Maria Cano Foundation University in Cali Columbia in 2001 and her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Arcadia University in 2016. She is a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist through the Ola Grimsby Institute since 2014 and Big therapist certified by LSVT since 2016. Margarita is also trained to perform Functional Capacity Evaluations and Physical Reconditioning Program. She has been practicing for over 16 years and has worked primarily with orthopedic and neurological patients. Margarita speaks fluent Spanish.
    Christine Henkelman, P.T., COMT
    Christine Henkelman
    Christine earned a Bachelor Degree in Physical Therapy in 1996 from the University of New England. She is also certified in the Graston Technique and a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist from Ola Grimbsy Institute in 2015. Christine has over 20 years of experience in treating back and neck pain including TMJ rehabilitation, vestibular rehabilitation, strains, DDD, HNL, arthritis and sacroiliac dysfunction. She also has specialized interest in knee and shoulder rehabilitation including sports injuries, surgical repairs, total joint replacements and other orthopedic injuries.
    Peter Piatasik, P.T., SFMA, TPI L3
    Peter Piatasik
    Peter earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Daeman College. He has over 18 years clinical experience, has completed training at the Titleist Performance Institute and has been conferred upon as a L3 medical professional. His specialized interest is in body swing mechanics and selective functional movement assessment. Peter's diverse background assists him in achieving great success with clients with a wide variety of musculoskeletal and vestibular disorders within the orthopedic outpatient setting.

    Christine Ingram
    Christine earned her Bachelor degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Florida in 1997. Christine developed a passion and interest in the treatment and care of upper extremity injuries after working with patients with severe burns at Tampa General Hospital and went on to earn her certification in Hand Therapy in 2007. She has been practicing for over 19 years. Christine is committed to excellent patient care including orthotic fabrication and post-operative management of complex injury reconstruction including tendon laceration/repair, nerve repair, fracture, joint and ligament tears/reconstruction.
    Andy Tran, P.T., DPT
    Andy Tran
    Andy received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy degree from Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas and received his Bachelor degree from the University of Notre Dame. Andy's time with Select Physical Therapy began as a student in Louisville, Kentucky where he was able to observe with the therapy office of Dr. Kleinert. Originally from Fort Worth, Texas, he moved to Lakeland in 2014 to further develop his hand treatment skills. Andy currently operates under the supervision and mentorship of the CHT staff, primarily in the Lakeland and Winter Haven office while he progresses toward obtaining his own certification.
