Our Team

Dominic Nguyen, P.T., DPT

Dominic is a compassionate individual that treats every patient like family. He was born and raised in the East Bay attending De La Salle High school and Saint Mary's College of CA studying Biology. He then studied at the University of Saint Augustine to earn a Doctorate of physical therapy. Dominic enjoys hiking, cooking, weightlifting and playing basketball.

Katrina Buhagiar, P.T., DPT, Center Manager

Katrina is a graduate from Western University of Health Sciences. Her clinical experiences has shaped her into the clinician she is today. Katrina displays a professional and fun environment for her patients. She portrays empathy and compassion for patients to achieve their goals. Katrina enjoys a variety of hobbies including camping, spending time with family, hiking, running and weightlifting. She ran two full marathons, four half marathons, one aquathon and completed three Tough Mudder races.

Mercedes Marchbanks, P.T., DPT

Mercedes has been a Select Physical Therapy team member since 2018. She obtained a doctorate in physical therapy from University of Southern California in 2016. She has experience treating patients of all ages in a variety of clinical areas including post-operative, orthopedics, recreational and collegiate athletes, geriatrics and pediatrics. Her introduction into the field of physical therapy began during her collegiate track and field career at UC Berkeley where she learned to rehabilitate from various sport's injuries, including a reconstructive ACL surgery. Through her education and personal experiences, she has grasped the emotional and physical processes involved in the recovery process. Mercedes loves spending time with friends and family, playing golf, riding her bike, hiking and painting.
