Our Team

Anita Chon, OTR/L, M.S., CLT

Anita has been a part of the Select Physical Therapy family since 2020. As an occupational therapist, she specializes in hand therapy with a specific focus on hands, elbows and shoulders. Anita earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from UC Santa Cruz and master's degree in occupational therapy from Stanbridge University. She is a certified lymphedema therapist. Anita loves to have fun and make people laugh while helping improve their overall function.

Stephanie Gougenheim, P.T., DPT

Stephanie is a 2014 Texas Woman's University graduate with a clinical doctorate in physical therapy. She and her family moved to Ridgecrest, CA in summer 2021 from her hometown of Houston, TX. Stephanie started working at Select in 2022. Stephanie enjoys an active lifestyle and spending time with family. She participates in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, plays basketball and enjoys traveling. She is passionate about hands-on rehab as well as good education regarding the anatomy of healthy bodies, injury prevention and maintaining good body mechanics during everyday activities. She has treated patients as young as one and as mature as 99 years old and enjoys working with people of all ages. While she enjoys the challenge of treating all types of injuries, she especially enjoys treating cases of shoulder injuries, sport-related injuries and total knee replacements.

Hilary Griffin, P.T., DPT

Hilary has been a clinician with Select Physical Therapy since March 2018. She specializes in treating patients of all ages with various orthopedic and neurological conditions such as total joint replacements, post-operative injuries, osteoarthritis, balance and gait dysfunctions, postural dysfunctions, pediatrics and return to sport. Hilary loves to challenge patients to get them back to the activities they love and approaches each patient with individualized goals. Hilary is certified in blood flow restriction and instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization. She earned a bachelor's degree in kinesiology at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2013 and doctorate of physical therapy from Mount Saint Mary's University in 2017. Hilary enjoys spending time with her husband, kids and extended family, racing-off road cars, travelling and camping.

Jaclyn Gutierrez, PTA

Jaclyn has been a member of Select Physical Therapy since 2022. She earned an associate degree at Concorde Career College and has worked in multiple settings including skilled nursing facilities, home health and outpatient. She has always loved the active lifestyle and helping others, which she is able to combine while working in the physical therapy field. She enjoys assisting patients with returning to the activities they love and implementing healthy changes into their lifestyle. Jaclyn is a certified yoga instructor and enjoys camping, rock climbing, wakeboarding and long boarding.

Carrie Hill, M.A., OTR/L, PAM, HTC, CHT

Carrie has been a member of Select Physical Therapy since 2011, with 12 years of clinical experience. She has worked primarily in the outpatient hand therapy setting, as it is her passion. Carrie specializes in treating patients who benefit from hand and upper extremity issues that impact their ability to participate in the daily occupations they love and that make them unique. Carrie completed her undergraduate education at California State University, Fullerton and master's degree in occupational therapy from University of Southern California. She and her husband enjoy hiking and backpacking all over the world.

Jenny Horta, PTA

Jenny has been a member of Select Physical Therapy since 2016, with over seven years of clinical experience in the outpatient setting. Jenny earned an associate degree in physical therapist assistant Carrington College and certifications in blood flow restriction training and instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization. Jenny enjoys helping others and staying active. She believes in encouraging exercise and fostering more activity into patients' daily lives to not only aid in the rehabilitation process, but also promote a healthy lifestyle change. Jenny believes in giving patients the tools they need to help themselves live a happier and healthier life. She enjoys spending time with her husband and family while jet boating, off-roading and watching football, cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles.

Sarah Mumford, OTR/L, CHT, HTC, MOT, PAM

Sarah has been a member of Select Physical Therapy since 2017. She has worked in outpatient, pediatrics, inpatient and home health settings. Sarah specializes in treating patients with upper extremity deficits encompassing the shoulder to the fingers. She treats a large variety of diagnoses including fractures, arthritis, multi-trauma, compression syndrome, activity analysis of body postures/mechanics, tendon and nerve laceration and tendonitis. Sarah earned a bachelor's degree at California State Fresno, master's degree in occupational therapy from University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences and completed certification in hand therapy. She and her husband have three young children, two fur babies and enjoy being outdoors and working out.

Angela Trinkle, MOT, OTR/L, CHT, PAM

Angela has been with Select Physical Therapy since 2009 and has more than 13 years of clinical experience. She has worked in outpatient occupational hand therapy. As a certified hand therapist since 2015, she specializes in treating patients with various orthopedic and neurological conditions such as trigger finger, finger fractures, hand stiffness, carpal tunnel, distal radius fracture, elbow tendinitis, rotator cuff injuries and CVA. She also implores the use of modalities and splinting to improve mobility and stability in patients. She enjoys working with all ages and diagnoses and giving personalized care. Angela earned a bachelor's degree in psychology in 2005 from New Mexico State University and master's degree in occupational therapy in 2008 from the University of New Mexico. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two children as well as visiting family in New Mexico.
