A San Diego native, Daniel Strauss, DPT graduated summa cum laude from Biola University in 2011 with his bachelor's degree in human biology. He then attended Northern Arizona University and graduated in 2017 as a doctor of physical therapy. He first became interested in the field of physical therapy as a high school athlete, when he sustained injuries that resulted from playing club sports and received physical therapy himself. Daniel enjoys the critical thinking aspect of physical therapy as well as the hands-on skill required in manual therapy. Even more importantly, he finds great fulfillment in getting to know his patients and helping to get them back to what they love while helping prevent future injury. When Daniel is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, friends and family, playing any number of sports (soccer being his favorite), surfing, running and relaxing on the beach.
