Our Team

Layne Martin, P.T., DPT, CEEAA, Center Manager

Layne has over 10 years of experience working with patients in a clinical setting. Layne's primary goal is to create community and support around improving health and activity tolerance. She takes a hands-on approach to treatments followed by prescribed functional exercise and education to improve quality of life. Layne is committed to building collaborative relationships in northern Colorado with like-minded medical professionals for the benefit of patients and their families. While Layne is confident treating all diagnoses, she primarily treats shoulder dysfunction and enjoys treating neck pain and headaches. She uses dry needling when medically indicated.

Alex Hutchison, P.T., DPT

Alex lived in Iowa for most of her life. She has familiarity with outpatient, workers' compensation and pediatric populations. Alex specializes in treating patients with shoulder injuries, work injuries and athletic pains. Alex studied movement and exercise science at the University of Northern Iowa and completed a doctorate at Des Moines University. She is working toward an advanced certification in manual therapy. Alex and her partner enjoy spending time outdoors and playing soccer.

Hannah Smedley, P.T., DPT

Hannah is originally from North Carolina where she received a bachelor's of science at UNC Wilmington and attended Methodist University for a doctorate in physical therapy. She is skilled in treating hips, knees and ankles, and especially enjoys working with runners. She also has experience treating neurological conditions such as Parkinson's disease, stroke and brain injuries. Hannah loves running, paddle boarding and catching a good sunrise at Horsetooth Reservoir.

Skyla Stifter, P.T., DPT

Skyla has worked in outpatient, inpatient and pediatric settings. Skyla has experience in treating a wide-variety of orthopedic conditions, but has a special interest in treating post-surgical patients, golf rehabilitation and working with pediatrics. Skyla completed her undergraduate education at Washington State University and doctorate of physical therapy from Dominican University of New York. She also has certification in dry needling. Her and her partner have a dog and enjoy biking, golfing and camping.

Sarah Mumford, OTR/L, CHT, HTC, MOT, P.A.M.

When individuals experience trauma from severe life stressors their lives can unravel. Sarah's passion is to bring healing in several different ways to these individuals. Sarah views education as essential during each interaction she has with her patients through therapeutic activity, neuromuscular re-education, strength training and manual therapy. Her goal is to not only improve pain, but their quality of life through purpose and return to their prior level of function.

Jordan Billings, PTA, C.L.

Jordan is native to Colorado. She earned her bachelor's in sports and exercise science and further earned her associates as a physical therapy assistant and is licensed in the state of Colorado. Jordan Billings began her career specializing in post-surgical spine patients and back/neck injuries. Over the last eight years she has specialized in orthopedic cases, workers comp, oncology and women's health. Jordan enjoys spending time with family and being outside as much as possible.
