Select Physical Therapy's highly trained staff will design a specialized plan of care that is just right for you. Sports Medicine: We provide sport rehabilitation services for multiple local high schools and universities, both onsite and in our center. The goal of our physical therapists and athletic trainers is to return injured athletes to their optimal performance level in whichever sport they participate.

Industrial: We are focused on returning injured workers back to their place of employment in a timely and safe manner. We will provide highly focused functional rehabilitation programs that ensure ideal return-to-work status. We also provide screening procedures designed to ensure safety in the workplace.

Our Team

Lisa Wagner, PTA, B.S., CSCS, Multisite Manager

Lisa has been a member of the team since 2001 and has over 17 years of outpatient clinical experience. She earned an associate's degree in 2005 from Springfield Technical Community College and bachelor's degree in biology in 2013 from Central Connecticut State University. Lisa is also a certified strength and conditioning specialist. She enjoys treating patients of all diagnoses and is especially interested in shoulder and knee pathologies. Lisa strives to provide high-quality care to patients in a caring and professional environment, as well as maintain long-term relationships with referral sources to ensure the best possible care of patients. In her free time Lisa enjoys spending time with friends and family and hiking.

Victoria Traineanu, P.T., DPT

Victoria has been a member of the Select Physical Therapy team since 2008 when she started as a rehabilitation aide and graduate student. She currently has over 11 years of clinical experience in the outpatient setting. She specializes in treating patient who benefit from orthopedic rehabilitation, sports medicine services, vestibular and concussion rehabilitation and low back rehabilitation. Victoria completed her undergraduate and graduate education at University of Hartford and received her doctorate of physical therapy in 2011. She also has her certification in trigger point dry needling. Victoria takes value in returning patients to their previous function and strives for a fun and educational environment for patients to recover. In her free time, she enjoys running, hiking and woodworking.

Dorothy Switalska, PTA

Dorothy has 29 years of clinical experience, with her main specialties being orthopedic therapy and homecare rehabilitation. She earned her degree from STCC and has been a clinical instructor to students as well. Dorothy has had experience treating patients with a wide variety of diagnoses, which has broadened her scope of practice and skills. Her knowledge as a therapist, athletic trainer and golf fitness specialist allows her to develop diverse treatment plans to fit the individual needs of her patients. In her free time, Dorothy enjoys spending time golfing and hiking.

Sara Robinson, B.S., ATC, LAT

Sara is an athletic trainer for Select Physical Therapy's South Windsor office and services South Windsor High School Athletics. She earned her bachelor's degree in athletic training in 2020 from Roanoke College. Sara enjoys being there everyday for athletes and preparing them to return to their sport following an injury. Sara specializes in injury prevention, clinical evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation and immediate and emergency care. Sara is also certified in performing physical ability tests to evaluate physical demands for new employees. Sara enjoys spending time with family and friends and spending time outdoors in her free time.
