Select Physical Therapy's highly trained staff will design a specialized plan of care that is just right for you. Sports Medicine: We provide sport rehabilitation services for multiple local high schools and universities, both onsite and in our center. The goal of our physical therapists and athletic trainers is to return injured athletes to their optimal performance level in whichever sport they participate.

Industrial: We are focused on returning injured workers back to their place of employment in a timely and safe manner. We will provide highly focused functional rehabilitation programs that ensure ideal return-to-work status. We also provide screening procedures designed to ensure safety in the workplace.

Our Team

Ron Ogrodowicz , MPT, CHT, ATC, LAT, CSCS

Ron is the center manager, physical therapist, certified hand therapist, athletic trainer and strength and conditioning specialist for Select Physical Therapy's Stratford center. He has achieved success in the treatment of orthopedic injuries, sports-related injuries, vestibular disorders and work-related injuries. Ron earned a bachelor's degree in sports medicine in 1996 from Catawba College, bachelor's degree in health and science studies in 2001 and master's degree in physical therapy in 2003 from Quinnipiac University. He served as the assistant athletic director and head athletic trainer from 1997-2004 at Quinnipiac University.

Julia Genetti , PTA

Julia is a licensed physical therapy assistant. She graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 2018 with a bachelor's degree in kinesiology. She continued her studies at Norwalk Community College and received physical therapy assistant board certification in July 2021. She has completed internships in outpatient orthopedics, skilled nursing facilities and hospitals. Her clinical experiences and interests include orthopedic musculoskeletal conditions, sports medicine injuries and post-operative care.

Julliana Tapia , M.S., LAT, ATC

Julliana is the head athletic trainer at Stratford High School. She graduated in 2019 from Sacred Heart University in Connecticut with a bachelor's degree in athletic training. After graduating from SHU, Julliana earned a master's degree from Logan University in sports medicine and rehabilitation. She received National Athletic Training Board of Certification in 2019.

Rob Frost , M.S., LAT, ATC

Rob is the head athletic trainer at Bunnell High School. He graduated from Bethel University in 1999 with a bachelor's degree in athletic training, and master's degree in sports management from St. Cloud State University while working as a graduate assistant for the Men's D1 hockey team. He continued his career serving in hockey at St. Lawrence University (2003-2008) where he also worked as strength coach, until moving on to become the head athletic trainer for the Buffalo Sabres AHL affiliate (2008-2015). Rob worked for the Sioux City Musketeers in the USHL for two years as athletic trainer, equipment manager and strength coach. He returned to college hockey in 2017 when he accepted a position at Yale, where he also worked with the rowing team.
