During this time, we are keenly focused on your safety while helping you feel better. Our center is open and here to serve those in need. The Department of Homeland Security and state governments have deemed physical therapy an essential component of health care during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Select Physical Therapy's highly trained staff will design a specialized plan of care that is just right for you. Sports Medicine: We provide sport rehabilitation services for multiple local high schools and universities, both onsite and in our center. The goal of our physical therapists and athletic trainers is to return injured athletes to their optimal performance level in whichever sport they participate.

Industrial: We are focused on returning injured workers back to their place of employment in a timely and safe manner. We will provide highly focused functional rehabilitation programs that ensure ideal return-to-work status. We also provide screening procedures designed to ensure safety in the workplace.

Our Team

Andrew Miller, P.T., DPT, OCS, CEAS

Andrew is a physical therapist and center manager of Select Physical Therapy's West Hartford and Farmington centers. He earned a doctorate in physical therapy in 2010 from Northeastern University. He is an orthopedic certified specialist and certified ergonomic assessment specialist. Andrew has previously worked with Temple University and University of Hartford athletics. An avid runner, Andrew is a USATF and RRCA running coach. He treats a wide variety of running and sports-related injuries, as well as post-surgical and orthopedic conditions.

Nicole Sills, P.T.

Nikki is a physical therapist at Select Physical Therapy in West Hartford. She earned a doctorate in physical therapy in 2016 from the University of Connecticut. Nikki is a board certified orthopaedic clinical specialist, a certified dry needling therapist and is pursuing continuing education in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy. She is passionate about treating a variety of conditions, with a special interest in athlete injury rehabilitation and prevention, low back pain, neck pain/headaches and older adults requiring functional training and fall prevention. As a former collegiate rugby player, Nikki also advocates for the role of physical therapy in the treatment of post-concussive syndrome.

Amy Sobolewski, P.T.

Amy is a physical therapist at Select Physical Therapy’s West Hartford center. She is the site supervisor of the onsite location at Aetna in Hartford, providing physical therapy services for Aetna employees. She graduated with a doctorate in physical therapy in 2015 from Sacred Heart University. In 2019, Amy became recognized as a board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. Amy has expanded her clinical practice and knowledge with numerous continuing education courses. She has also enhanced her involvement with Select’s WorkStrategies Program, utilizing an additional initiative in workplace injury prevention and management. Amy enjoys treating a broad range of musculoskeletal injuries, but holds a passion for post-surgical care, sports injuries, low back pain and ergonomics.

Andrea Stekl, DPT, P.T.

Andrea is a physical therapist at Select's Physical Therapy's West Hartford and Farmington centers. She earned a doctorate of physical therapy in 2019 from Nazareth College. She is a certified dry needling therapist and pursuing continuing education in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment. Andrea has a special interest in sports medicine, joint replacements, post-surgical care and fall prevention in older adults. She is dedicated to helping patients return to their favorite hobbies and work-related duties pain-free.

Brooke Elefant, P.T.

Brooke earned a doctorate of physical therapy from SUNY Stonybrook and bachelor's degree in exercise science from the University of Florida. In 2007, Brooke achieved the distinguished recognition of orthopaedic certified specialist from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. She also holds strength and conditioning specialist certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Brooke has enhanced her practice with numerous continuing education courses and techniques and became a certified Graston Technique practitioner in 2012. Brooke specializes in orthopaedics, sports medicine, manual therapy and functional training. She enjoys treating all injuries, but is especially interested in low back pain, post-op rehabilitation, soft tissue dysfunction and knee pain.

Brittany O'Neill, DPT

Brittany is a physical therapist the West Hartford clinic. She earned a doctorate in physical therapy in 2010 from Northeastern University. She has a strong background with the Mckenzie method of mechanical diagnosis and treatment. Brittany has also taken numerous educational courses involving treatment of sports-related injuries and orthopedics. She has a special interest in postpartum education and treatment. Her passion is assisting people back to their full functional capacity and returning to the activities they enjoy.

Jane Marques, M.S., P.T.

Jane is a physical therapist and center manager for Select Physical Therapy’s West Hartford center and a market manager throughout Connecticut. She has achieved success in the treatment of orthopaedic injuries and specializes in pediatrics and women’s health, especially musculoskeletal pain during pregnancy. Jane is full body certified in Active Release Technique, a soft tissue mobilization treatment used to heal soft tissue injuries and a technique popular among the running and triathlon community. She earned a bachelor's degree in physical therapy in 1981 from the University of Connecticut, master's degree in applied anatomy and physiology in 1985 from Boston University and has completed numerous continuing education courses.

Lindsay Richards, PT, COMT

Lindsay has over 15 years of experience in outpatient physical therapy. A 1998 graduate of the University of Connecticut, she has worked for Select Physical Therapy for the past 13 years, most recently as the center manager of the onsite clinics located at Aetna in Hartford and at Cigna in Bloomfield. With extensive experience in orthopedic practice, Lindsay is the coordinator of clinical education for Select Physical Therapy’s New England region and is an instructor for the Cyriax method of systematic evaluation and treatment for musculoskeletal conditions. In 2010, Lindsay earned credentials as a certified orthopedic manual therapist (COMT) and relies on manual therapy skills, in combination with exercise prescription, to help patients reduce pain, restore function and achieve goals they have been unable to reach independently.

Jennifer Fournier, P.T.

Jennifer is a supervisor and physical therapist for our center at The Hartford's Hartford and Windsor campuses. Jennifer earned a master's in physical therapy in 2008 and is certified in the Cyriax method of evaluation and treatment of soft tissue lesions, trigger point dry needling and ergonomic assessments. She has experience in orthopedic injuries such as ankle/foot disorders, shoulder injuries, neck and back pain/injuries, vestibular therapy and various neurological disorders such as stroke, brain injury, amputations and MS.

Claire Botting, ATC

Claire is the head athletic trainer at Hartford Public High School. She received a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and master's in athletic training from Saint Louis University. Claire became certified as an athletic trainer by the National Athletic Trainers' Association Board of Certification in June 2014. Along with caring for student-athletes at Hartford Public, she is also involved with the WorkStrategies Program doing ergonomic evaluations and working with employees at various locations throughout CT and MA.
