The Department of Homeland Security and state governments have deemed physical therapy an essential component of health care during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Select Physical Therapy's highly trained staff will design a specialized plan of care that is just right for you. We provide highly focused functional rehabilitation programs that ensure ideal return-to-work status. We also provide screening procedures designed to ensure safety in the workplace.

Our Team

Andrew Miller, P.T., DPT, OCS, CEAS

Andrew is a physical therapist and market manager. He treats primarily out of the West Hartford office, but helps support Select's offices in Farmington, Simsbury, Bloomfield and Avon. Andrew earned a doctorate in physical therapy in 2010 from Northeastern University. He is an orthopedic certified specialist, and treats a wide variety of running and sports-related injuries, as a well as post-surgical and orthopedic conditions. Andrew has previously worked with Temple University and University of Hartford athletics, and is a USATF and RRCA running coach. He coaches predominantly youth running and track and field groups.

Nicole Sills, P.T., DPT

Nikki is a physical therapist and center manager at Select Physical Therapy in West Hartford. She earned a doctorate in physical therapy in 2016 from the University of Connecticut. Nikki is recognized as a board certified orthopedic clinical specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. She is also a certified dry needling therapist and regularly utilizes the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy in her treatment. Nikki enjoys treating a variety of conditions and is particularly interested in post-operative ACL rehabilitation, neck and low back pain, headaches and fall prevention in older adults.

Amy Sobolewski, P.T., DPT, OCS

Amy is a physical therapist at Select Physical Therapy’s West Hartford center. She is the site supervisor of the onsite location at Aetna in Hartford, providing physical therapy services for Aetna employees. She graduated with a doctorate in physical therapy in 2015 from Sacred Heart University. In 2019, Amy became recognized as a board-certified orthopaedic clinical specialist by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. Amy has expanded her clinical practice and knowledge with numerous continuing education courses. She has also enhanced her involvement with Select Medical’s WorkStrategies Program, utilizing an additional initiative in workplace injury prevention and management. Amy enjoys treating a broad range of musculoskeletal injuries, but holds a passion for post-surgical care, sports injuries, low back pain and ergonomics.

Andrea Stekl, P.T., DPT

Andrea is a physical therapist at Select's Physical Therapy's West Hartford and Farmington centers. She earned a doctorate of physical therapy in 2019 from Nazareth College. She is a certified dry needling therapist and pursuing continuing education in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment. Andrea has a special interest in sports medicine, joint replacements, post-surgical care and fall prevention in older adults. She is dedicated to helping patients return to their favorite hobbies and work-related duties pain-free.

Brittany O'Neill, P.T., DPT

Brittany is a physical therapist the West Hartford center. She earned a doctorate in physical therapy in 2010 from Northeastern University. She has a strong background with the Mckenzie method of mechanical diagnosis and treatment. Brittany has also taken numerous educational courses involving treatment of sports-related injuries and orthopedics. She has a special interest in postpartum education and treatment. Her passion is assisting people back to their full functional capacity and returning to the activities they enjoy.

Brooke Elefant, P.T., DPT, OCS, CSCS

Brooke earned a doctorate of physical therapy from SUNY Stonybrook and bachelor's degree in exercise science from the University of Florida. In 2007, Brooke achieved the distinguished recognition of orthopaedic certified specialist from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. She also holds strength and conditioning specialist certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Brooke has enhanced her practice with numerous continuing education courses and techniques and became a certified Graston Technique practitioner in 2012. Brooke specializes in orthopaedics, sports medicine, hands-on therapy and functional training. She enjoys treating all injuries, but is especially interested in low back pain, post-op rehabilitation, soft tissue dysfunction and knee pain.

Cody Ibarra, P.T., DPT

Cody is a physical therapist at Select Physical Therapy is West Hartford. He earned a doctorate of physical therapy in 2019 from Columbia University. He has treated a wide variety of patient populations and is passionate about the many ways physical therapy can enhance patient quality of life, especially in youth populations, older adults improving function and reducing fall risk and sports medicine. He has pursued continuing education in Rocktape and is a certified instrument-assisted soft tissue practitioner. In his free time, Cody enjoys reading, cooking, and martial arts - which he has participated in since he was a child. Cody believes that care is best when it is customized to individual patient goals, helping them to return to all the things they love to do.

Peter Inserillo, P.T., CSCS

Peter is a physical therapist at Select Physical Therapy in West Hartford and Farmington centers. He earned a doctorate of physical therapy in 2021 from the University of Hartford, where he also completed his undergraduate degree while playing soccer. Peter is a certified strength and conditioning specialist with more than seven years of coaching experience. He has worked with a multitude of athletes, ranging from interscholastic team sports to individual Olympic Lifters and Power Lifters. He has a special interest in sports medicine, sports performance and enjoys treating a wide variety of orthopedic injuries. Peter is devoted to returning athletes to their respective playing fields and assisting his patients' return to fully functional lives.

Jane Marques, M.S., P.T.

Jane is a physical therapist and center manager for Select Physical Therapy’s West Hartford center and a market manager throughout Connecticut. She has achieved success in the treatment of orthopaedic injuries and specializes in pediatrics and women’s health, especially musculoskeletal pain during pregnancy. Jane is full-body certified in Active Release Technique, a soft tissue mobilization treatment used to heal soft tissue injuries and a technique popular among the running and triathlon community. She earned a bachelor's degree in physical therapy in 1981 from the University of Connecticut, master's degree in applied anatomy and physiology in 1985 from Boston University and has completed numerous continuing education courses.

Claire Botting, ATC

Claire is the head athletic trainer at Hartford Public High School. She received a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and master's in athletic training from Saint Louis University. Claire became certified as an athletic trainer by the National Athletic Trainers' Association Board of Certification in June 2014. Along with caring for student-athletes at Hartford Public, she is also involved with the WorkStrategies Program doing ergonomic evaluations and working with employees at various locations throughout CT and MA.
