Our Team

Rose Babcock, PT, DPT, OCS, COMT

Rose earned a master’s degree in physical therapy from Springfield College in 2002, and a doctorate of physical therapy from Temple University in 2012. She is a board-certified orthopaedic clinical specialist and has extensive training in vestibular rehabilitation, Parkinson’s disease therapy and lower extremity prosthetic rehabilitation. Rose is a certified LSVT BIG provider and runs a monthly Parkinson’s support group. Rose serves on the Medical Advisory Board for the Parkinson Association of Central Florida and is a charity runner and fundraiser with the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s research.

Pam Goodridge, PT, COMT, Center Manager

Pam earned her bachelor's degree in physical therapy from the University of Kentucky in 1992. She is a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist and has more than 25 years of experience with 19 years in orthopaedic therapy. She serves as the center manager for both the St. Cloud and Kissimmee centers.

Dennis Velazquez, PT, ATC

Dennis graduated from the University of Akron (Ohio) with a bachelor's degree in athletic training for sports medicine in 1994 and master's degree in exercise physiology in 1995. Dennis later earned a master's degree in physical therapy from the University of St. Augustine in 2002. His background includes orthopaedic physical therapy, sports medicine, and vestibular therapy. In addition to outpatient orthopaedics, Dennis has worked in acute care therapy at a level one trauma facility. Dennis is also bilingual in English and Spanish.

Richard Thom, PT, DPT

Richard graduated from Lynchburg College in Virginia with a doctorate of physical therapy in 2013 and has worked in outpatient orthopaedics following graduation. The Georgia native is currently working towards a certified manual therapy certification and sports clinical specialty. His clinical interests include orthopaedics and sport specific training, as well as functional rehabilitation for all age groups. Richard enjoys sports, fishing and spending time with his wife and two sons.

Carlos Alvarado, OTR/L

Carlos earned his master's degree in occupational therapy from the University of St. Augustine in 2016. His clinical experiences have focused on hand therapy and he hopes to pursue certification as a hand therapist in the future. Carlos spent 11 years in the army and deployed to Iraq for a 1-year tour of duty as military police. In his free time, Carlos has many hobbies including volunteering, photography and cycling.

Cassandra Bloom, LAT, ATC, PTA

Cassandra graduated from the Ohio State University with a bachelor's degree in athletic training in 2004 and then earned her physical therapist assistant degree from Kent State University (Ohio) in 2018. She has been working in outpatient sports and orthopaedic rehabilitation since 2005 throughout the Orlando area. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter at the theme parks or local playgrounds.

Nicole Pegarido, PT, DPT

Nicole earned her bachelor's degree in Health Science at the University of Central Florida in 2013 and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of South Florida in 2018. She is originally from the island of Guam and moved to Florida in 2011. She enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach and playing volleyball in her free time.

Mike Yarvi, OTR/L

Mike is originally from Cleveland Ohio, where he earned his bachelor's degree from Cleveland State University in 2006. He pursued his Master's degree in Occupational Therapy after sustaining a broken arm, for which he had therapy. He graduated from Touro University Nevada in 2014, and moved to Orlando, where he has worked as a hand therapist since. Mike enjoys remodeling his home, exercising, and playing softball.

LSVT BIG Program

LSVT BIG has been shown to improve ratings on tests of motor functioning in people with Parkinson's Disease following treatment. Physical gains include:
