Our Team

Amy Hayes, PTA, Pelvic Floor Therapist

Amy has been a member of Select Physical Therapy team since 2018. She specializes in pelvic floor therapy with certification for complex diagnoses, male pelvic floor and transgender populations. Along with her love of pelvic floor and orthopedics, she holds special interest in amputee rehabilitation. Amy has certification from Herman & Wallace Institute for pelvic floor rehabilitation, male pelvic floor and advanced pelvic rehabilitation. She completed her undergraduate work and associate degree at Pensacola State College. Amy is married with three children, and three Great Danes she thoroughly enjoys along with her passion for providing nurturing and upbeat atmosphere for her patients.

Amanda Capitell, PTA, ATC

Amanda has been a member of Select Physical Therapy since 2019, with 10 years of clinical experience as a physical therapist assistant and certified athletic trainer. She has worked in a variety of settings including outpatient, inpatient and collegiate. Amanda specializes in treating patients who benefit from orthopedic rehabilitation and sports medicine services. She completed her undergraduate education at The University of West Florida and master's degree in sports management from Auburn University of Montgomery before returning to South University to obtain a physical therapy assistant degree. She enjoys spending time with her husband and children, going camping and visiting the beach.
