Success Stories

Alice Beneby

Alice Beneby came to our center unable to walk more than 10 feet, in need of assistance with all activities of daily living and using an assistive device due to being a fall risk. Alice had suffered a stroke and needed help getting back on her feet. Through a well-designed therapy program, she began showing tremendous improvement after working with Therapists Greg Andes, Taylor Millheim and Naureen Jooma. In the beginning, Alice required moderate assistance for all transfers. Now, she is independent with bed mobility, getting out of a chair, and able to walk over 500 feet and maneuver around her home. Alice can also fully reach overhead to grab objects, brush her teeth and open jars independently. Alice regained her independence and reached her goals. We are so happy, Alice, that you have achieved a more independent lifestyle at home. Thank you for choosing us on your rehabilitation journey.

Angel Arce

Angel Arce has been in and out of physical therapy due to intermittent chronic low back pain. Despite progress and best efforts, Angel would need a spinal fusion. He completed this round of post-operative therapy and would, unfortunately, return 6 months later after a return of symptoms. After this return, dry needling was incorporated into Angel's treatment plan with positive results. With the addition of this therapeutic intervention, he gained stability necessary to maintain proper form. He was discharged in and returned to his gym workouts. Fortunately for us, he recently came back to visit in early 2024 which was a year after discharge. He shared appreciation with the team as his back is still strong. He has maintained his health and independence with his workouts. Thank you for stopping by, Angel, and sharing the excellent news. We appreciate you choosing us on your rehabilitation journey.
