Our Team

Robert Whitaker, P.T.

Robert is a physical therapist and center manager at our Winter Park center. He received a master's degree in physical therapy in 1994 from Andrews University. Robert has worked as a physical therapist in outpatient orthopaedics in the Central Florida area for more than 20 years. Robert is dedicated and enjoys working with a variety of patients, ranging from professional athletes to workers' compensation injuries.

Tara McHugh, P.T.

Tara received a bachelor's degree in physical therapy from Northeastern University and master's degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix. Tara has been a member of the Select Physical Therapy team since 2010. She is a member of our WorkStrategies Program, with training in functional capacity evaluations and post-offer employment testing. Tara is WorkSteps certified.

Heidi White, OTR/L, CHT

Heidi earned a bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from Eastern Michigan University and is a certified hand therapist. Heidi brings a high level of energy, devotion and compassion to the treatment of her patients. She also has experience with the development of a hand therapy program in Volusia County. She continues to take on new challenges in working to develop Select's hand therapy program in central Florida.

Lisa Grafe, P.T., DPT

Lisa earned a doctorate of physical therapy from Florida International University and bachelor's degree in health science from the University of Central Florida. She enjoys working with a variety of patients and has a passion for helping athletes return to competition. Lisa has training in concussion and vestibular rehabilitation and is LSVT BIG certified for Parkinson's disease treatment.

Created in collaboration with physicians and infectious disease specialists, the program uniquely meets the rehabilitation needs of this challenging and complex disease.
