Jennifer completed her undergraduate degree in biology in 2009 at Western Kentucky University where she also played on the softball team. She earned a degree in psychology in 2010 at Missouri Western State University and doctorate in physical therapy in 2013 from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Jennifer has been with Select Physical Therapy since 2013. She completed a residency in orthopedics in 2014 and earned orthopedic specialty certification in 2015. She earned certification in orthopedic manual therapy in 2017. She has been an adjunct faculty member at a local university since 2017, and also serves as a faculty member in Select Medical's orthopedic residency and orthopedic manual therapy programs. Her clinical interests include orthopedic and sports therapy, manual therapy and clinical education. Jennifer enjoys spending time with family, traveling and attending concerts.

Madison is a physical therapist who earned a bachelor's degree in exercise science from Missouri State University in 2019 and doctorate of physical therapy from the University of Kansas Medical Center in 2022. She was actively involved in research and the American Physical Therapy Association and Kentucky Physical Therapy Association throughout her time in school. She is excited to begin her career at Select Physical Therapy. Her interests include orthopedic physical therapy, sports medicine and hands-on therapy. Madison enjoys spending time with friends and family, but especially her dog.

Leif received a transitional doctorate in physical therapy in 2011 after receiving a master's degree in physical therapy in 2000 from KU Medical Center iand his undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota. Leif has a passion to help empower patients to achieve their safest functional capabilities. Leif has worked in the inpatient, outpatient and home health settings and with a wide variety of physical and mental conditions of all ages and backgrounds. He has particular interest in sports medicine and pediatric care while he gives full interest to all patients, particularly those wanting to take a more active approach to their rehabilitation. He and his wife have three children and they love being active together and living faithfully. He enjoys gardening, playing and coaching soccer, running, working out, swimming and going to sporting events.

Macy is originally from Gardner, KS. She attended the University of Kansas where she completed her undergraduate degree in applied behavioral science before going on to earn her doctorate in occupational therapy at Rockhurst University. Macy has been with Select Physical Therapy in the Kansas City market since 2024. She is pursuing a specialty certification to become a certified hand therapist. Her areas of interest include upper extremity orthopedic rehabilitation and hands-on therapy techniques. She enjoys baking, live music and spending time at the lake with her family.

Felicia found her love for physical therapy through playing sports all throughout her life. That passion grew stronger through her physical therapy school clinical experiences where she got to treat patients of many different backgrounds in a variety of settings to help them achieve their goals and return to their pre-injury lifestyle. She is born and raised in Kansas City and is excited to return to KC where she can make a positive impact in the patients she treats.

Robin completed her occupational therapy education in 1983 and went on to serve in the United States Air Force as an occupational therapist and hand therapy consultant from 1983 until her honorable discharge in 1991. She returned home to the St. Louis area where she continued to practice in occupational medicine, acute inpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing and outpatient therapy, both private and hospital-based. She achieved her hand therapy certification in 1992. She joined Select Medical in 2011 and transferred to the Kansas City market in 2014 where she has grown the hand therapy program at our Parkville location. She completed her certification in orthopedic manual therapy of the upper limb in 2016.

Laura originally hails from Carroll, Iowa. She received her undergraduate degree in health and exercise science from Missouri Western State University in 2009 where she also played on the Women's Tennis team. She graduated with her doctorate of physical therapy from the University of Kansas Medical Center in 2017 and has been with Select Physical Therapy in Parkville ever since. Laura became certified through Select Medical's two year orthopedic manual therapy program in 2019, and enjoys using these hands-on skills to help treat her patients' various musculoskeletal injuries. Her other clinical interests besides orthopedics and sports therapy include cancer rehab, nutrition and cardiovascular fitness. She loves spending time with her husband and two daughters, crushing CrossFit workouts, and being active outdoors in the sunshine.

Shawn is a residency-trained, board certified specialist in orthopedic physical therapy. Shawn received his doctorate of physical therapy degree from Missouri State in 2016. Following completion of his residency and board certification in 2017, Shawn underwent a two-year course of study in advanced orthopedic manual therapy. He has enjoyed teaching in many capacities, sitting as a post-professional residency faculty member in Kansas City, as well as a clinical instructor for graduate level physical therapy students. He has also spent time as a treating physical therapist for the KC Ballet and Broadway Shows on Tour. Outside of being a physical therapist, Shawn enjoys hiking, skiing, cooking and attempting to play the violin. Above all, he loves spending time with his wife and daughter.
