Our Team

Carrie Martin, P.T., DPT

Carrie Martin is the center manager at our Camp Hill center. She joined the Camp Hill team after her family relocated from North Carolina in July, 2019. Carrie graduated from the University of Virginia with her bachelors of science in sports medicine in 2000. She then went on to Emory University and obtained her doctor of physical therapy degree in 2003. After graduating, Carrie has worked all over the world as a physical therapist with experiences in Germany, Colorado, Washington D.C,, Alaska and North Carolina as she followed her husband’s military career. She has worked in pediatrics, acute care trauma, post-operative care, military medicine, sports medicine and neurological disorders. She is a certified pose running coach and strength and conditioning specialist. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, baking, especially cupcakes and running. She is looking forward to settling down in Central PA with her husband and three children.

Emily Ellis, P.T., DPT

Emily is a physical therapist at our Camp Hill center. She earned a doctorate in physical therapy in August 2018 from Shenandoah University and bachelor's degree in biology allied health in 2015 from Elizabethtown College. Emily has a passion for treating patients of all ages with a wide range of orthopaedic and neurological conditions. In her opinion, every patient deserves an individualized plan of care tailored to his or her goals, impairments and abilities. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and actively remains up-to-date with the latest research literature in order to provide patients the most effective care possible. Emily’s strengths include acute orthopaedic injuries, post-operative joint replacements and chronic pain. She enjoys exercising outdoors, hiking, kayaking, canoeing and adventuring new places.

Renee Long, OTR/L, CHT

Renee is a Certified Hand Therapist for Select Physical Therapy’s Camp Hill outpatient center. She has achieved success in the treatment of hand and upper extremity injuries such as carpal tunnel syndrome, arthritic conditions, ligament injuries and post surgical conditions, such as fracture fixation and tendon laceration repair. Renee has been an occupational therapist since 1994 and a certified hand therapist since 2001. She was born and raised in Camp Hill and attended Towson University in Baltimore, MD. As a mother of 2 elementary school aged children, she spends a lot of time at various sporting events and running back and forth to practices.

Derek Over, PTA

Derek is a physical therapist assistant for Select Physical Therapy’s Camp Hill center. He has achieved success in the treatment of a wide array of orthopaedic conditions. He earned an associate's degree in 2008 from Central Pennsylvania College and currently attends Shippensburg University part time studying Exercise Science. Derek enjoys golfing, being outdoors, exercising and cheering on his favorite sports teams the Miami Dolphins, Penn State Nittany Lions, Philadelphia Phillies and Flyers.

Matt O'Brien, M.S., ATC, PTA, CSCS

Matt started with Select Physical Therapy in 2015. Matt has been the head athletic trainer at Trinity High School since the beginning of August 2015. His duties include providing quality athletic training service at all home athletic events and away football games, coordinating rehabilitation for student-athletes and providing educational tools for injury prevention and awareness. Matt earned a bachelor's degree in sports medicine in 2004 from King's College, an associate's degree in physical therapy assistant in 2006 from Penn State and a master's degree in exercise science in 2011 from California University of PA. He is also recognized by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a certified strength and conditioning specialist. Previously Matt worked as the head athletic trainer for Nativity BVM High School and Shamokin Area High School.
