We offer metabolic rehabilitation which is a physician-ordered and monitored program that provides individuals with a customized exercise program to help reduce pain and lose weight. Supervised by a licensed physical therapist, this specialized program helps educate on specifics of exercise to give our patients the knowledge and support necessary for positive lifestyle changes.

Our Team

James Kinton, P.T., DPT, OCS

James has been a member of Select Physical Therapy since 2021, with 24 years experience and has been an orthopedic clinical specialist since 2009. He has worked in outpatient, inpatient, home therapy and educational settings. James specializes in caring for patients with orthopedic disorders, spine pain, vestibular disorders and sports rehabilitation. James received his undergraduate and master's degree from Ithaca College and doctorate of physical therapy from Temple University. He holds certification in Graston Technique, High Velocity, Low Amplitude mobilization of the spine and Selective Functional Movement Assessment. He has a special interest in treating endurance athletes including, runners, cyclists and swimmers. James has resided in south central Pennsylvania with his wife and three children since 2001.

Steve Kolumban, PTA

Steven has been a member of Select Physical Therapy since September 2021. Steven obtained a bachelor's degree in fitness and exercise science from Shepherd University in 2015. In his time at Shepherd, Steven was part of the Shepherd Men's Tennis Team qualifying for the NCAA tournament twice. Steven went on to obtain an associate degree in physical therapy assistant from Penn State Mont Alto, receiving his license July 2021. Steven enjoys playing tennis, hiking and traveling.
