Goose Creek

Valerie is a physical therapist and center manager for our Goose Creek center. She graduated from Lebanon Valley College in central Pennsylvania in with a bachelor's degree in health science and doctorate degree in physical therapy. She brings great value to our team and has shown success in the treatment of a variety of orthopedic diagnoses such as cervical and low back pain, sports-related injuries and post-surgical rehabilitation including rotator cuff repairs, total joint replacements and spinal fusions. She also has experience in treating neurological and vestibular conditions.

Whitney has a background in pediatrics, geriatrics and acute care within hospital settings. She has treated a wide variety of neurological disorders such as post-stroke, TBI, Parkinson's disease, Multiple Sclerosis and Cerebral Palsy. She has also mastered techniques in treating musculoskeletal disorders such as carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, epicondylitis as well as tendon sprains, tears & lacerations. In addition to these clinical skills, she has experience in treating patients with mental disorders such as Autism Spectrum Disorder and genetic disorders such as Down Syndrome and Fragile X Syndrome. Since her move to Select, she has fallen in love with orthopedics but will always have a passion for her pediatric patients and hopes to work with both groups in the future.
