Our Team

Amanda Gillette, BCBA

Amanda has been a member of the Select Kids Pediatric Therapy since 2022, with 6 years of clinical experience working in both clinic and home settings. Amanda specializes in treating patients ages 2-18 with autism spectrum disorder who will benefit from support in functional communication, social skills, adaptive and daily living skills and reduction of problem behaviors. Amanda completed her undergraduate education at Western Governors University and received a master's degree in exceptional education/applied behavior analysis from the University of West Florida. She and her husband have four children and enjoy hiking and camping in their free time.

Lauren Zarr, RBT

Lauren's career in behavior and skill building began in 2015 when she worked as a paraprofessional with the Anchorage School District. After a few years she relocated to Wasilla and worked in a similar role with the Mat-Su School District.

After taking four years off to raise her children she recently joined the Select Medical team in August 2023. Her favorite part about working with children is giving them the tools to build independence and functional communication.

Lauren was born and raised in Eagle River, Alaska. When she is not working she spends her time at home or on the go with her husband and two children. She enjoys crafts and reading in the colder winter months and exploring the Alaskan outdoors in the summer.

Nate Babin, patient service specialist

Born and raised in Louisiana, Nate moved to Alaska in 2023 and joined the Select Physical Therapy team in August 2025 as a floating patient service specialist. He is excited to settle down and work in our pediatric clinic.

Nate enjoys going on spontaneous adventures with his wife, playing video games, finding new music, reading and hiking. He and his wife have five pets, which cause them the utmost joy and headaches.

Kasey Flintoft, O.T., OTRL, MSOT, center manager

Kasey is a Michigander who found her way to Alaska in 2020. Never wanting to truly grow up, she pursued a degree in occupational therapy where she can play all day!

Kasey earned her bachelor's degree in rehabilitative medicine and her master's degree in occupational therapy from Saginaw Valley State University. She has experience providing outpatient pediatric services with a focus on autism spectrum disorder, early intervention, dyslexia/dysgraphia, equine and aquatic-based therapy and mental health.

When not providing fun-filled therapy to patients, Kasey can be found in the mountains exploring, a coffee shop reading, a concert dancing or traveling across the country.

She looks forward to working in collaboration with parents in the care and development of their children, providing them the tools needed to change the world in their own unique ways.

Haley Fiel, SLP

Haley, who has worked with a variety of clinical populations and disorders since 2017, creates a calming and encouraging environment for her patients.

Originally from Pennsylvania, she earned her bachelor's degree from Clarion University of Pennsylvania and continued her education at Fayetteville Technical Community College, earning her speech-language pathology assistant certification. She gained experience with a variety of patient populations in speech and language therapy and then earned her master's degree in speech-language pathology from California University of Pennsylvania.

Haley loves animals, especially her black lab mix, as well as traveling, hiking, camping, running, yoga and exercising outdoors.

Pediatric Therapy

We offer multi-disciplinary pediatric therapy services – physical, occupational, speech and applied behavioral analysis (ABA) therapy – to help children reach developmental milestones and their full potential. Therapy methods are typically provided in one-on-one sessions, using play-based activities to gain insight into how a child moves, thinks and expresses themselves. Small group therapy also can be helpful for some children to build social skills and communication. Additional specialized programs, such as feeding therapy, sensory/emotional regulation, toe-walking and torticollis, are also available at select locations. We are committed to providing an exceptional experience that enhances each child's participation in desired family, community and school activities.
