Our Team

Aditi Gupte, P.T., Center Manager

Aditi has been working with the Select Physical Therapy since September 2021 and currently leading the team at the Fremont location. She has practicing experience as a physical therapist for two years in India and last 4 years in United States in New York and California. She had worked in a variety of clinical settings including outpatient, skilled nursing and home health. When not in the center, Aditi enjoys traveling, watching movies and exploring the beautiful Bay Area.

Charul Gupta, P.T.

Charul is originally from India. She has experience of about 10 years in the field working in outpatient therapy. She treats patients with depth of knowledge of skilled manual therapy, exercise therapy and physical modalities with consideration of the patient's condition. She strives to compassionately guide her patients to their goals of returning to normal functional activities. She is focused on wellness of the patient before and after therapy and believes in treating the entire person and not just the injury. She enjoys being in parks for rejuvenation, dancing and spending time with family.

Erin A. Madriaga, PTA

Erin has been a team member since July 2022, joining us shortly after graduating with an associate degree in physical therapist assistant from Ohlone College. Erin has amassed experience in the outpatient orthopedics setting and skilled nursing setting, and holds interests in low back and women's health rehabilitation, work conditioning and pain management. Erin is originally from the Bay Area and enjoys fitness classes, surfing, reading, spending time with friends and family and exploring new and trendy places to eat.

Shixin Yu, P.T., DPT

Shixin Yu is an expert in pain management, sports rehabilitation and performance optimization. As a guest lecturer at the Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy at the University of the Pacific, Shixin educates future health care professionals on activity modification, pain neuroscience, the pathophysiology of pain syndromes and evidence-based approaches to physical improvement. His comprehensive and compassionate care focuses on empowering patients to overcome physical limitations, prevent re-injury and reclaim their active lifestyles. He is particularly interested in treating athletes and weekend warriors.
