Our Team

Krystal Buck, PTA

Krystal graduated from California State University of Sacramento in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in kinesiology. She represented the D1 college in track & field and cross country covering distances from 1500m to 3000m steeple chase. She then moved to San Jose as head coach to Notre Dame High School cross country and track where she received her physical therapy assistant license from Ohlone College in 2014. She began her career at a bay area center specializing in chronic pain management. She joined Select Physical Therapy in 2017 in Phoenix, AZ. She is now settled in San Diego with her husband and dog, Raptor. She competitively races distances ranging from 5K to marathons. She has competed in three Boston Marathons and plans on doing more World Marathon Majors in the future.

Larry Roberts, PTA

Larry is a clinical veteran with more than 45 years of exceptional patient care to his credit. He specializes in orthopedics and sports medicine in all levels and every age group. In addition to his clinical experience, Larry is a certified athletic trainer who has utilized his considerable skills to treat athletes at high schools, universities and with a variety of professional sports teams. Throughout his career, Larry has distinguished himself as an accomplished professional with an easygoing style and a long history of successful rehabilitation stories.

Sarah Bauer, P.T., DPT

Sarah joined Select Physical Therapy in 2023. She grew up in San Diego, CA and moved to Boston, MA for college. She received a bachelor's degree in rehabilitation sciences and doctorate of physical therapy at Northeastern University. Sarah believes in the importance of the combination of physical therapy, strength training, balance and injury prevention, and loves helping people return to the activities they love. She competed in gymnastics as a child, then threw herself into the world of dance in middle school and hasn't looked back since. Sarah loves reading, dancing, working out and cooking new recipes.
