Our Team

John "Chuck" Beneck, P.T., CSMT

A Pennsylvania native, Chuck received his degree in physical therapy from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia in 1987. He moved to Colorado in 1989 to suit his active lifestyle. He received his orthopedic certification in physical therapy from the American Physical Therapy Association in 1998. He has attended extensive continuing education, which includes receiving his certification in spinal manipulative therapy from the Spinal Manipulation Institute in 2013. He also became certified in trigger point dry needling in 2009 by the Biomedical Acupuncture Institute. Chuck opened High Plains Physical Therapy in Loveland in 2003, treating primarily orthopedic related conditions. The practice thrived for over 17 years. High Plains joined with Select Physical Therapy in December of 2020. This transition has allowed Chuck to focus on his primary interest, which is treating patients.
