Our Team

Gayle Alis-Brown, PT, DPT

Gayle earned her bachelor's degree in exercise science from the University of Southern California, where she returned to receive her doctorate in physical therapy in 2004. During her doctoral program, she completed internships in California and Hawaii, focusing on inpatient and outpatient orthopedics. Since then, she has worked in multiple facilities in outpatient orthopedic clinics and multiple home health agencies. She also has been a clinical instructor for physical therapy students from multiple graduate programs in California. Gayle has completed numerous continuing education courses, including orthopedic manual physical therapy, advanced whole-body Kinesio Taping and primary and secondary courses from the Postural Restoration Institute. Gayle has been happily married to her husband for more than 20 years and together they are raising three beautiful children. Gayle enjoys spending time with her family, making crafts, running, cycling and lifting weights.

Marie Staley, PT, DPT, OCS, COMT, Center Manager

Marie, a graduate of Northeastern University who joined Select Physical Therapy in the Connecticut region in 2005, specializes in post-operative orthopedics. Marie received her transitional doctorate in physical therapy in 2006 from Northeastern. She has been board-certified in orthopedics since 2011 and is also a certified Graston technique practitioner, certified Kinesio Taping practitioner and a certified orthopedic and manual therapist through the Ola Grimsby Institute. Marie enjoys spending time with family, traveling and attending sporting events.

Hand Therapy

Our certified hand therapists (CHT) provide comprehensive and industry-leading treatment for hand, wrist, arm, elbow and shoulder injuries or conditions. Our team will work with you to create an individualized program to return you to work, life and athletics as soon as possible.
