Our Team

Shane Stitik, P.T., DPT, COMT

Shane graduated from Florida International University in 2014 with a doctorate of physical therapy and earned certification in manual therapy in 2016 from the renowned Ola Grimsby Institute. He has successfully treated multiple musculoskeletal and neurological conditions throughout his career. Shane enjoys the personal aspect of patient care. He believes in treating patients as people, not simply body parts, and uses a holistic approach in treatment while considering individual needs.

Suzanne Cuspilich, P.T.

Suzanne has been a physical therapist since 1993 and with Select since 2017. She has worked in a variety of settings including home health, hospital and outpatient. She specialized in treatment of vertigo/vestibular disorders, TMJ, pre- and post-total joint replacements, joint surgeries, spine injuries and surgical interventions as well as neurological disorders. Suzanne believes in educating and empowering patients to take an active role in understanding and treating their condition. She loves spending time with family and myriad of pets. She also enjoys running, yoga and competing in triathlons.

Courtney Mortensen, OTR/L, CHT

Courtney has been with Select Physical Therapy since February 2021. She spent almost a decade as a pediatric occupational therapist working in orthopedics, neuro and developmental delays before specializing in hands and transitioning to adults. She received a bachelor's degree from Florida State University and master's degree in occupational therapy from Nova Southeastern University. Courtney is a member of the American Association of Hand Therapy. Her love of hand therapy started in her clinical fieldwork, where she trained under the 2011 ASHT President. Her passion only grew with treating genetic hand anomalies and working on the interdisciplinary stroke follow-up clinic. It was her challenging orthopedic pediatric caseload that lead Courtney to pursue becoming a certified hand therapist. Courtney enjoys spending time with family and being active outdoors.

Ashtin Callahan, OTD, OTR/L

Ashtin is a thoughtful, diligent and passionate occupational therapist who desires to provide patients with the tools they need to achieve their goals. By getting to know her patients, Ashtin utilizes her creativity to provide individualized care to increase the patient's participation and performance skills. She graduated from Nova Southeastern University in 2023 with honors. Ashtin specializes in hand therapy and treats upper extremity pathologies that impact everyday living.

Isa Hernandez, PTA

Isa has been a team member since 2021 with experience in orthopedics and pediatrics. She graduated from South University with an associate degree. Isa brings a high level of energy and personality to the patients she treats. She was born and raised in Tampa, Florida and is excited to treat in the area she grew up in. Isa has experience in developmental delay, therapeutic exercises, gait training and physical modalities. She has a passion for promoting wellness for all and patient-focused care.

Tara Maduro, P.T., DPT, COMT,

Tara has 25 years of experience and is a graduate of Ithaca College master's level program. Tara completed her doctorate of physical therapy in 2013. She is a certified orthopedic manual therapist with additional training in various taping techniques, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization and biomechanical analysis specific to endurance athletes. She enjoys treating patients with a variety of orthopedic conditions. She has completed several distance events herself including 5k's to marathon, including the NYC marathon. After providing a comprehensive evaluation, Tara's approach includes her manual therapy skills, specific exercise prescription and biomechanics feedback in custom-tailored designed program to meet the needs of the individual.

During this time, we are keenly focused on your safety while helping you feel better. Our center is open and here to serve those in need. The Department of Homeland Security and state governments have deemed physical therapy an essential component of health care during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
