Tara Maduro, P.T., DPT, COMT
Tara brings more than 25 years of physical therapy experience to her role as center manager. A graduate of Ithaca College's master's program, she earned her doctorate in physical therapy in 2013. Tara is a certified orthopedic manual therapist and is dry needling level 1 and 2 certified, with advanced training in taping techniques, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization and biomechanical analysis for endurance athletes.
She enjoys treating a wide range of orthopedic and oncology conditions as she takes a personalized approach to care. After a thorough evaluation, Tara designs custom-treatment plans, combining manual therapy, targeted exercise and biomechanics feedback to help patients achieve their goals.
An avid runner, Tara has completed events from 5Ks to marathons, including the New York City Marathon, giving her unique insight into the needs of active individuals.
Shivani Patel, P.T., DPT
Shivani is a dedicated physical therapist who joined the Select Physical Therapy team in 2023. Born and raised in Houston, she earned both her undergraduate degree and doctorate in physical therapy from Texas Tech University.
Shivani is passionate about delivering high-quality care and patient education, with a focus on improving longevity and overall well-being. She treats a wide range of conditions, including vestibular disorders and orthopedic pre- and post-operative cases as well as being dry needling certified. She brings a unique, proactive approach to reducing fall risk in the geriatric population.
Fluent in English and Gujarati, Shivani is committed to having a meaningful impact in her community through compassionate, culturally aware care.

When you need dedicated, sports-specific care, look to our Select Sports Centers of Excellence (COE). Our COE designation conveys the highest quality in sports medicine delivery. It's an endorsement of expertise in sports as a clinical practice.
