All Services Success Stories

Carlie Marrs

Carlie Marrs is an active, social individual who loves traveling and learning new things. Unfortunately, a car accident during her senior year led to painful symptoms that mystified doctors. After years of various appointments, Carlie, now 23, had her first diagnosis: scapular winging requiring surgical intervention. After surgery, Carlie worked with Occupational Therapist Karen Baker, who created a tailored rehabilitation plan for Carlie. Within the month, Carlie made gains that had her moving physically towards her pre-injury days. "It was so important for me to get back to the life I enjoyed with my friends and family as well as my reading and studies," she said. "I'm now able to fully sing and dance like when I was 17!" Carlie is back to attending her studies at college and working at her dream job without pain. Thank you, Carlie, for choosing us on your rehabilitation journey.
