All Services Success Stories

Bryan Taylor

Musician and church conductor, Bryan Taylor, injured his wrist lifting chairs for the choir he conducts at church. This injury affected Bryan's ability to conduct and play piano — each activity caused pain and he didn't want to further injure his wrist. Our occupational therapist created a customized therapy plan so he could recover properly, focusing on functional proprioception and stability therapy exercises. Bryan made huge progress in occupational therapy and has returned to conduction. Nearing 100% return to normal function, he still has some mild pain after a busy weekend, but he said, "I am 63 years old now, I think it has probably been 'earned.'" He also shares, "[My occupational therapist] has been such an amazing therapist both for the injury and to my spirit… her people skills are incredible, creating healing beyond the norm."
