Our Team

Alia Young , P.T., DPT

Alia graduated with a bachelor's in health and exercise science from the University of Oklahoma in 2011 and a doctor of physical therapy from OU Health Sciences Center in 2015. She has been a member of the Select Physical Therapy team for seven years. Alia enjoys treating patients of all kinds, but especially post-surgical orthopedic patients and athletes to assist in return to normal life and function. She is trained in women's health and trigger-point dry-needling. She treats patients how she hopes her family would be treated.

Lynn Smith , P.T., DPT, OCS, COMT

Lynn received a bachelor's degree in physical therapy in 1998 from The University of Oklahoma and doctorate of physical therapy in 2013 from Arcadia University. Lynn is board certified as an orthopedic specialist since 2015 by the American Physical Therapy Association, and is also a certified orthopedic manual therapist. Lynn has 25 years of experience and is trained in women's health and dry needling.

Carissa Churchill, PTA

Carissa has been a part of the Select Physical Therapy team for a year, joining the NW Oklahoma City Rockwell center in 2021. She is a licensed physical therapist assistant and graduate from Oklahoma City Community College. Carissa is a former professional ballet dancer with the Oklahoma City Ballet and went to the San Francisco Ballet School. She had the benefit of experiencing physical therapy first-hand as she recovered from injuries throughout her career. She is an American Physical Therapy Association member and plans to achieve a certificate of advanced proficiency in orthopedics in the future. Carissa is passionate about orthopedic rehabilitation and hopes to focus on helping the dance community and help patients reach their goals and return to doing what they love.
