Our therapy team can be helpful at all stages of Parkinson's disease. Movement impairments, dysarthric, dysphagic and cognitive impairments in the initial stages of the disease are not always obvious. By not engaging a physical therapist or speech therapist with a neurological specialization as part of their medical team, people with Parkinson’s often miss the window of opportunity to address these impairments early.

Select Physical Therapy therapists have a combined 25 year history of providing therapeutic intervention with the goal of preventing or minimizing the disability of Parkinson's. We partner with our patients to manage their specific situations at the present and as their condition changes.

We also offer speech therapy services which include the SPEAK OUT! Parkinson's program, tongue thrust for pediatrics and adults, inclusions, head/neck cancer rehabilitation and swallowing difficulties.
