Our Team

Jamie E. Sheriff, OTR/L, Center Manager

Jamie is a graduate of Penn State University with a bachelor's degree in occupational therapy. She has provided occupational therapy services in various rehabilitation settings, including outpatient, acute, inpatient, long-term care and school settings. She specializes in working with patients who have neurological conditions, cognitive and visual impairment disorders. Jamie is also certified in the LSVT BIG program that focuses on treatment of patients who have movement disorders, such as Parkinson's disease.

Gillian Frey, MSPT

Gillian earned a master’s degree in physical therapy from Ithaca College. She has worked in outpatient centers and inpatient acute and rehabilitation settings and specializes in treating vestibular disorders, neurological conditions and pediatric patients. Gillian received additional training for vestibular diagnoses and is Herdman Competency Certified. Diagnoses she treats include BPPV, vestibular hypofunction, labyrinthitis, vestibular neuritis, central vertigo, acoustic neuroma and Ramsay Hunt. Neurological diagnoses include MS, Parkinson’s disease, CVA, Guillain Barre, concussion and traumatic brain injury.

Dawn Dreyer, PTA

Dawn graduated from Lehigh Valley Community College with an associate's degree in physical therapy. She has extensive experience working in varies outpatient therapy settings, including hand therapy, vestibular, lymphedema, neurological and general orthopaedics. Dawn holds a certification in manual lymphatic drainage and complete decongestive therapy. She enjoys working with the diverse population that is served at the Bloom center.

Jacqueline Brandt, COTA

Jackie joined the Select team at Bloom this year after graduating with a degree as a certified occupational therapy assistant from Central Penn College. She treats patients who have undergone a neurological diagnosis by working with them to regain movement and get back to independent living. She enjoys watching The Office on Netflix, playing volleyball and caring for her English Bulldog mix, Lilly.

Jenna Deppen, CCC-SLP

Jenna is a speech-language pathologist at our Walnut Bottom center. She earned a bachelor’s degree in communicative disorders and minor in deaf studies in 2016 from West Chester University and master's degree in communication disorders in 2018 from California University of PA, both with honors. Jenna lives in New Cumberland and enjoys spending time outdoors. She likes to hike, crochet and is a Penn State football fan. In the summer, she spends time on the lake kayaking, fishing and paddle boarding.

Doug Stockton, PTA

Doug decided to pursue a career in physical therapy after studying various styles of martial arts for more than two decades. He was able to see firsthand how training in Tai Chi, Qi Gong and meditation could be used in programs to help the elderly, disabled and even special needs children. Doug went to school at Central Penn College where he received an associate's degree in applied science. He uses his combined experience to serve his clients. When he is not working, he enjoys teaching martial arts in the Harrisburg area.

Ciersten Dixon, M.S., CF-SLP

Cierstin earned a bachelor's degree in communication sciences and disorders from Penn State University and master's degree in speech-language pathology from Nova Southeastern University. Cierstin splits her time at the inpatient Helen Simpson Rehabilitation Hospital and the outpatient Bloom Neuroscience Center. She specializes in working with individuals post-stroke or traumatic brain injury, targeting the areas of dysphagia, speech and language (aphasia, dysarthria & apraxia) and cognitive linguistic skills (memory, attention and problem solving).

Dhavalkumar Pandya, P.T., DPT

Dhaval graduated from Penn State University with a bachelor of science and minor in psychology. In 2018, Dhaval earned his doctor of physical therapy degree from New York Medical College. He shares that his passion is for helping individuals achieve their goals and return to living the highest quality of life possible through evidence-based practice. Dhaval has experience working in a wide variety of settings such as outpatient orthopaedic, inpatient acute care and with the pediatric population in the New York City Department of Education. In his free time, Dhaval enjoys playing musical instruments, practicing yoga and meditation and engaging in physical fitness through martial arts.
