Our Team

Adam Peters, P.T., DPT, Certified MDT, Market Manager

Adam has been a physical therapist since 2005 graduating from Arcadia University with a doctorate of physical therapy. He has been a member of Select Physical Therapy since 2015. He is a market manager for the Hanover market and for three of our outpatient Harrisburg offices located in Chambers Hill and West Hanover. Adam has experience in treating orthopedic conditions and injuries, work health, sports medicine and spine conditions. Adam is certified in the McKenzie method and enjoys the challenges that orthopedic conditions bring. He strives to restore functional activities in all patients allowing them to return to their normal activities of daily life.

Leigh Cook, P.T.

Leigh has over 20 years of clinical experience and has spent the majority of her career working for Select Medical in both inpatient and outpatient facilities. She has treated patients in a wide range of clinical settings including skilled nursing, sports medicine, orthopedics and neurologic rehabilitation, and holds specialty training in pelvic health and vestibular rehabilitation. She graduated from Ithaca College with a master's degree in physical therapy in 2000 and Temple University in 2009 with a doctorate in physical therapy. While at Ithaca, she was a member of the Track and Field team competing in the heptathlon and high jump. She and her husband have two teenage boys, two cats and a fish. The family enjoys hiking, camping and traveling.

John Miller, DPT

John recently graduated from Messiah University in 2023 with a doctorate of physical therapy. John loved playing for Seton Hill University's men's lacrosse team while earning a bachelor's degree in exercise science. Having clinical experience across various settings has allowed him to find his love for treating sports medicine and orthopedics patients. John's genuine passion for helping individuals achieve optimal physical well-being is clear, bringing creative challenges and "fun" into physical therapy for patients of all ages. John enjoys working out at the gym, playing with his dogs and spending quality time with family and friends.
