Michael Smith, P.T., DPT, CSCS
Michael is a physical therapist and center manager. He has treated a variety of orthopedic injuries, including postural dysfunctions, low back/neck pain and post-operative rehabilitation for total joint procedures, rotator cuff repairs and ACL reconstruction.
Mike earned a bachelor's degree in kinesiology from Penn State University in 2007 and a doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Pittsburgh in 2010. He took part in multiple clinical rotations, allowing him to work with athletes at the Center for Sports Medicine in Pittsburgh.
Chris Moutopoulos, P.T., DPT
Originally from upstate New York, Chris earned both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Russell Sage College. As a former collegiate lacrosse player, Chris brings a passion for sports and movement into his practice. He enjoys working with athletes of all levels, as well as treating orthopedic conditions – especially those involving the knee and shoulder.
Chris is an avid fly fisherman and kayaker who loves exploring the waters of the Lowcountry. He also has a deep appreciation for the region's history and culinary scene.
Daniel Mundorff, MPT
Dan is an experienced physical therapist with a strong background in pediatric and vestibular rehabilitation. Originally from Bolivar, Pennsylvania, he developed an early passion for science and healthcare.
Dan joined Select Physical Therapy in 2022 and provides care at both our North Mount Pleasant and West Ashley centers. Known for his compassionate and patient-centered approach, Dan is dedicated to helping patients of all ages improve mobility, restore function and return to the activities they enjoy most.
He earned a bachelor's degree and master's degree in physical therapy from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science.
Laura Clarity, P.T., DPT
Laura earned her bachelor's degree in health science from Clemson University, where she was a member and coach of the Rally Cats (collegiate dance team). She earned her doctorate in physical therapy from the University of St. Augustine.
Laura has practiced in a variety of environments with the majority of her career spent in outpatient, which is her desired and favorite setting. She has treated all levels of diagnoses from everyday injuries and surgeries to professional level athletes.
She enjoys the beach, running, hiking, adventuring and traveling with her two daughters and husband.
