Matthew Mitchell, P.T., DPT, FDN
Before serving the Surfside Beach and Conway areas, Matt spent 12 years in Virginia as a staff therapist and a multi-site supervisor. Matt has worked primarily in the outpatient, orthopedic settings but has a variety of experience. His passion is helping patients achieve their goals after experiencing injuries or surgeries. Matt's focus is evidence based, patient centered and functionally driven to improve the lives of the people he serves.
Melissa McCombs, PTA, ATC
Melissa interest in sports medicine led her to the California University of Pennsylvania where she received a degree in athletic training. From there, she attended Clemson University, graduating with a master's degree in counseling and guidance in 2001. In 2016, her educational path led her to Kent State University at Ashtabula where she received her physical therapist assistant degree. Her continued education includes courses and training which have allowed her to become proficient using Hawk Grips instruments when a patient's treatment plan calls for soft tissue mobilization. She has also had further training in concussion and vestibular rehabilitation.
