Our Team

Shane Yoshiyama, P.T., DPT

Shane has been a member of Select Physical Therapy since 2014. He has worked in the outpatient setting with orthopedic, neurologic and pediatric populations. Shane specializes in treating patients of all activity levels and those who may benefit from orthopedic rehabilitation and sports medicine services. Shane completed his undergraduate education at the University of Philadelphia, and received a doctorate in physical therapy from the University of St. Augustine, San Marcos campus. He is studying for certification in orthopedic manual therapy. He and his fiancé have a puppy and enjoy various sports and activities.

Monica Nolte, P.T., DPT

Monica is originally from Los Angeles, CA. She received a bachelor's degree in kinesiology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and doctorate in physical therapy at UCSF/SFSU. Now living in San Francisco, Monica is an avid indoor and outdoor rock climber and loves spending time with friends and looking after her house plants. Monica is a specialist in concussion and vestibular rehabilitation and is the Select Medical lead in these fields for northern CA.

Hein Kyi, P.T., DPT

Hein is originally from Myanmar. Hein became interested with human movement and physical therapy after going through rehabilitation following a soccer-related injury. Hein received a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology at San Francisco State University and doctorate in physical therapy from Samuel Merritt University. Hein is pursuing certification in manual therapy and a specialty in hand and upper extremity to treat gaming and eSports-related injury.

Rocio S. Brito, P.T., DPT

Rocio is originally from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She received her bachelor's degree in physiology and kinesiology from the University of Florida. She also completed her doctorate degree in physical therapy from Florida International University. Before becoming a physical therapist, she attended cosmetology school and had been in the beauty industry for over 10 years.
