Our Team

Val Spruce, P.T., MSPT, Center Manager

Val is a Colorado Springs native, and has been serving the active and motivated Monument community since 2001. She holds degrees in exercise physiology and physical therapy from Boston University and has completed continuing education courses to expand her practice including pelvic floor rehabilitation, dry needling, Pilates rehabilitation, vestibular rehabilitation and has taken numerous courses to aid her in treating the spine, extremities and manual therapy techniques. Val loves providing patients with the education, skills and tools to achieve long-term success and self-management. She takes recovery seriously, but likes to have fun and believes that laughter aids in healing. As center manager, she is committed to ensuring that your experience is top-notch.

Jami Gilbert, P.T., MSPT, DPT

Jami has been with Select since 2015, starting in Texas and moved to Monument, CO to join the team here. She has been a physical therapist since 2005. She completed her undergraduate education at St. Edward's University, master's degree in physical therapy from Texas State University and doctorate of physical therapy from Texas Tech University. She loves helping people heal themselves through movement and improve their quality of life throughout the entire lifespan. She specializes in orthopedic conditions, post-operative care and dry needling. Jami and her spouse have one daughter and three dogs. They enjoy being outside, going on walks, swimming and going to sporting events.

Marissa Baumhardt, P.T., DPT

Marissa was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where she grew up loving the Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin cheese. Marissa enjoys spending time exercising, hiking and being in the great outdoors. Marissa has a passion for fitness, health, wellness and nutrition.

Lauren Knuth, P.T., DPT, CSCS

Lauren grew up in Dallas, Texas and made her way to Colorado in 2017 for one of her clinical rotations. She graduated from Texas Woman's University in 2018 with a doctorate of physical therapy. Lauren also attended Rice University where she played Division 1 Women's soccer. Lauren loves sports and is passionate about staying active and getting patients back to the things they love. Lauren enjoys spending time with family, her husband and three young boys and two dogs.

Olivia Chinn, P.T., DPT

Olivia was born and raised in Ravenna, Ohio and completed her undergraduate degree in exercise science at the University of Toledo. There she also competed at the Division 1 level for the Toledo Rockets Cross Country and Track Teams. She completed a doctorate of physical therapy from the University of Montana. Olivia loves treating patients of all ages and abilities, with the desire to get them back into their daily activities, hobbies and meet their goals. She has additional interest in neurologic rehabilitation and is an LSVT BIG certified clinician for Parkinson disease. She enjoys hiking, skiing, camping and exploring the mountains.

Poli’ala Warwick , P.T., DPT

Poli was raised in Monument and a Palmer Ridge graduate. She has since lived in Wyoming, North Carolina and Texas. She loves rock climbing, yoga and watching the Duke Blue Devils basketball team. She enjoys treating all general orthopedic conditions with a special interest in TMJ.
