Luke Winterhalter, P.T., MPT, COMT
Luke brings an informative and comprehensive approach to physical therapy. His expertise includes correcting body mechanic issues contributing to dysfunction and pain with emphasis on manual therapy. He was born and raised in rural Illinois. Luke worked as a traveling physical therapist prior to moving to Florida in 2017. He is a Northern Illinois University alumni, graduating in 2012 with a master's degree in physical therapy. In addition to treating outpatient orthopedic cases, Luke treats return to sport athletes.
Brian Ackerman, P.T.
Brian, a 1990 Ohio University graduate with a bachelor's degree in physical therapy, is passionate about his profession. He practiced in an outpatient orthopedic setting in Ohio from 1990 until moving to Florida in 2007. He focuses on improving function through hands-on therapy and developing individualized exercises to allow patients to reach their maximum independence and potential. Brian enjoys riding his bike, watching college football and spending time with his dogs.
Heather Shaw, COTA
Heather is an Iowa native who moved to Pinellas county Florida in November 1982. She enrolled in The Occupational Therapy Assistant program at Hillsborough Community College in the fall 1998. She graduated in 2000 from the program doing a hand therapy internship. Heather fell in love with the specialty because of her internship. She began her career in 2000 with Select as an assistant. She also has 19 years' experience in the acute care environment making Heather a well-rounded experienced clinician.
Rhonda McNamara, PTA
Rhonda received an associate degree from South University in 2019. She has practiced physical therapy in the outpatient orthopedic, skilled nursing and long-term care rehabilitation settings. She is caring and committed to patients' success. She was born in Florida and moved to the Spring Hill community in 2005 where she enjoys spending time with family, going to the beach and participating in water sports.
Melissa Walsh, PTA
Melissa graduated from Stockton University in 2015 with her bachelor's of health sciences. She later moved to Florida where she graduated from South University in 2019 with her associate degree in physical therapy assistant. She is committed to patient care and improving quality of life. She has practiced in a facility who specialized in spines and skilled nursing.
