Our Team

Brenden Blaschke, P.T., DPT, OCS

Brenden is a physical therapist and center manager for our Columbia-area outpatient centers. Brenden earned a bachelor's degree in 2010 from American International College, doctorate of physical therapy in 2012 from American International College and became a board-certified orthopaedic clinical specialist in 2018. He has achieved success in the treatment of general orthopedic diagnoses with specialization in sports medicine. He is also CPR certified.

Paul Padgett, P.T., ATC, CSCS

Paul is a physical therapist for Select Physical Therapy’s Columbia area centers. He is a Lexington county native who graduated from Lexington High School in 1999. He attended Clemson University and received a bachelor's degree in biological sciences and certification as an athletic trainer. In 2006 he received a master’s degree in physical therapy from MUSC. He is enrolled in the doctorate of physical therapy program at The College of St. Scholastica and looks forward to graduation in 2022. Paul treats student-athletes at Lexington High School and with Clemson University Football for a combined 23+ years of experience.

Denese Dapito, OTD, OTR/L, CLT, CHT

Denese is an occupational therapist for Select Physical Therapy’s Columbia outpatient centers. She received a bachelor's degree in therapeutic studies in 2009 and master's degree in occupational therapy in 2011 from Boston University College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences: Sargent College. In 2017, she earned a doctorate of occupational therapy from Quinnipiac University. Denese is also a certified hand therapist and certified lymphedema therapist. She is trained in the fabrication of dynamic and static splints for upper extremity conditions and is highly skilled in treating benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) and general vertigo symptoms.

Amanda Wright, PTA

Amanda is a physical therapy assistant for Select Physical Therapy’s Myrtle Beach outpatient center. Before her career in physical therapy, Amanda chose to follow her passion for dance. In 2007, she graduated with a bachelor's degree in dance-performance and choreography with a minor in business from Coker College. She worked as a dance teacher for two years at The School of Discovery, a magnet school in Marlboro County, SC. After her years of teaching dance, she decided to promote an active and healthy lifestyle in a clinical setting by pursuing a career in physical therapy. In 2017, she received an associate’s degree in physical therapy assistant from Midlands Technical College.
