Success Stories

Marilyn Durham

Marilyn Durham has been an active individual her entire life. She won the title of World Champion Ice Dancer in her youth and loves to bike and go dancing with her husband, John. Unfortunately, paralyzing pain in her hips and pelvic floor had prevented her from enjoying these activities. With a physician referral in hand, Marylin made an appointment with Julie Miller, physical therapist. Marilyn worked on a rehabilitation plan that incorporated strength, balance and agility exercises in a stepwise fashion. While she hasn't achieved all her goals yet, Marylin has already achieved small wins such as walking and exercising pain-free. "The exercises were a little challenging today, so there is still some work to be done," she said. "But I have seen big improvements." Thank you for sharing, Marilyn. We wish you continued success on your rehabilitation journey.
